Take Action
Global staff based outside of the U.S. & all contractors
Step 1: Complete the Union Priorities survey
What should Wiki Workers United focus on first? What are your top workplace concerns?
Make your voice heard by completing the Union Priorities survey!
Step 2: Discuss with your colleagues
We have a WMF Slack channel called #global-union, dedicated to discussions about our interest in forming a global union. Please join us there!
Safety note:
- We have confirmed with the WMF People department that all staff should feel comfortable to discuss union-related topics in this channel, as long as these conversations are respectful and do not interfere with work responsibilities. We count on the People department to be true to their word on this.
Step 3: Spread the word
You can help us spread the word about Wiki Workers United by:
- telling your colleagues about the #global-union WMF Slack channel
- sharing this website with your friends and colleagues
Step 4: High five!
Thank you for supporting Wiki Workers United!
Your support and contribution to this unionizing effort bring all of us closer to forming a global union that will protect your and your colleagues' rights and wellbeing in the workplace. By supporting the union, you are also supporting the Wikimedia movement community: one of the core goals of Wiki Workers United is to improve WMF's transparency and accountability toward the community.
